The Department of ENT - Head and Neck Surgery at ABMH provides diagnosis and treatment for all ear, nose and throat ailments and other problems of the head and neck area in adults as well as children. Facilities provided are microsurgery of the ear, treatment of hearing loss, rehabilitation of the hearing-impaired, Nose and sinus surgery, surgery for tumors of the head and neck, facial-plastic and reconstructive surgery, laryngology and management of vocal and speech disorders.
Our outpatient department as well as the operating theatres is fully equipped with all modern, state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. Micro ear Surgeries are done for discharging ears, certain types of hearing loss such as Tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy, Ossiculopasty, Stapedectomy. Also more advanced surgeries like facial nerve decompression, endolymphatic sac decompression, otologic repair of CSF leak etc. Also minor daycare surgeries like - myringotomy, grommet insertion, ear lobe repair, ear piercing, Foreign body removal are done 2) Nasal Surgery Nasal surgery has changed tremendously since the time endoscopes been developed .In Past nasal surgery used to be performed with a naked eye, under direct vision of the headlight or with microscope & it usually required in external incision. With the help of endoscopes which gives clear & magnified view of inside of the nose, nasal surgeries can now be performed more precisely under direct vision with lesser complications. Also with the help of endoscopes not only nose & sinuses but also neighbouring areas such as orbit, optic nerve, lacrymal sac (Tear sac), Pitutory gland can be approached& their pathologies are dealt with.
 Surgeries performed are - Endoscopic Sinus Surgery for Nasal polyps, sinusitis, Endoscopic DCR, Endoscopic Orbital Decompression, Endoscopic CSF leak Repair, Endoscopic surgery for Epistaxis, Endoscopic excision of Pitutory gland, Endoscopic excision of certain nasal & sinus tumors.
Also the routine surgeries like Septoplasty / SMR for correction of deviated nasal septum, rhinoplasty (plastic surgery of the nose), # Nasal Bone reduction, surgery for tumors of the nose & sinuses are performed. 3) Surgeries of throat & Head & Neck:
