Brief Biography

She joined MBBS in AIIMS, New Delhi in 1986. Thereafter she completed her MD in Obstetrics & Gynecology from AIIMS itself during which she was trained in Laparoscopic Gynaec Surgery and High Risk obstetrics.

After her Post-graduation she joined the department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at AIIMS as Senior Resident and participated in training of Junior Residents in Basic Laparoscopic Gynaec Surgery.

She later worked in North India as a Consultant Laparoscopic Gynaec Surgeon for 9 years before joining Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital, Pune.

Credentials

She was a part of the organizing team of various conferences and workshops organized by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, AIIMS during her tenure of junior and senior residency.
She presented a paper titled “Evaluation of intrauterine abnormalities by sonohysterography and hysteroscopy” in XVII Annual conference of AOGD,Sept,1995.
She attended Annual FOGSI conference in Lucknow, 2000.
She delivered a lecture on LAVH in a clinical meeting of IMA, Abohar, Punjab.
She has attended a Live Workshop and CME on Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, Infertility and Sonography in Jalandhar in 2003 (FOGSI).
She has attended a live workshop on Infertility and Gynaec Endoscopy in Ludhiana 2004.
She has attended a CME and Live workshop on LAVH in Ludhiana, 2005 conducted by FOGSI.
She has attended a CME on PCOD and Infertility in Bathinda 2006(FOGSI)
