Brief Biography
Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy (Gall Bladder), Appendicectomy (Appendectomy)He joined MBBS in AIIMS, New Delhi in 1988.
After having completed MBBS from AIIMS, New
Delhi, he trained in General and Laparoscopic Surgery in the same institute i.e. AIIMS, during the years of the emergence of Laparoscopic Surgery in India. As a result he was a part of the team involved in the development and evolution of various Laparoscopic Operations at AIIMS.
After completing his MS in Surgery, he worked as a Senior Resident in the same department where he was again a part of the team involved in the evolution of Laparoscopic Surgery in AIIMS. He was actively involved in the training of Junior Residents in General & Laparoscopic Surgery.
Thereafter he worked in North India as a consultant in Minimal Access Surgery for a period of nine years before joining Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital.
