Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital launches Antenatal Classes
In an endeavor to assist pregnant mothers through their pregnancy, the hospital is offering antenatal classes, starting Wednesday, 14th October, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and are scheduled to continue on all Wednesday’s.
The classes are designed with a holistic approach which includes, diet, exercise and the does and don’ts of pregnancy. Each session will include physiotherapy tips as well as exercises for pregnant women between 24-32 weeks gestation, 2 lectures by the dietician who will recommend appropriate diet plans and 2 sessions by the obstetricians who will share information on post-pregnancy care and information on the different kinds of labour.
Antennal care is vital for the wellbeing of both, mother and child and has several benefits that include:
